Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This page describes what information Sentinel collects on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to keep this short and in plain English. Sentinel is operated by the project owner ("we", "us"). If anything here is unclear, email tanmaysarkar959@gmail.com.

What we collect

On this waitlist site, we collect:

  • Email address — only if you submit one through the waitlist form.
  • Basic request metadata — IP address, user-agent, and timestamp — automatically logged by our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) for abuse prevention. We do not aggregate or sell this data.

We do not use cookies for tracking. The only data we store on your device is a single localStorage item that remembers your light/dark theme preference.

How we use it

  • To send you a single email when Sentinel's beta opens.
  • To send up to two short product updates between now and launch.
  • Nothing else. No marketing rentals. No data sales.

Where it's stored

Email addresses submitted through the waitlist form are delivered by Web3Forms, our form handler, and stored in our internal inbox. Both are bound by their own privacy commitments.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your email at any time by replying to any email we send, or by writing to tanmaysarkar959@gmail.com. We will remove your address within 7 days of the request.

Children

Sentinel is intended for software professionals and is not directed at anyone under 16. If you are under 16, please do not submit your email.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.

This document is provided for transparency on a pre-launch waitlist. Once Sentinel launches a paid product or processes data on behalf of customers, this policy will be replaced with a full GDPR/CCPA-aligned version reviewed by counsel.
